Meet the Board

Mark Johnson - President

Mark’s occupation is a firefighter and emergency medical technician. He has been a part of Southern Crescent Resource Ministries for approximately 18 years. He started out as a member of a church group that was a member of Southern Crescent Resource Ministries. When he first started, the organization was located in the Covington area. Soon after, the organization moved to the McDonough area At a dairy barn. It was here that Mark began volunteering with Southern Crescent Resource Ministries. He helped unload trucks, sort and stack product and assist with the distributions. In 2002 Mark became a member of the Board of Directors. Mark became Board President in 2014. He is seen and been a part of this organization as it has grown from a few members receiving a monthly distribution to what we have today.

I pray that God will continue to bless us, so that we may be a blessing to others. With God’s will and guidance, we will continue to grow. I am grateful to all of our members, because without them our outreach would be small. Mrs. Linda Jones is a devoted wife of 26 years, a Mother , and a Grandmother.
Linda is indeed a game changer that will impress upon many successful women in
Entreprehureship and strewardship roles.

Linda volunteers for the city of Stockbridge on many occasions threw out the years.
Linda’s mission is to enhance the quality of life within our local communities.

Community threw her food pantry she founded 5 years ago.

Linda is also currently serving as a proud Board Member of the Main Street advisory Board of 6 years.(Stockbridge Ga.)
Linda also sets on the board for Southern Crescent Resource Ministry of 1year.( Mcdoungh Ga. )

Linda has a passion for giving back to the community and servanthood Reputation that continues to shine throughout her various heartfelt works.

Linda is a People person and believes that serving and helping others is a way to give back as well as help build a stronger community in which we live .

Born in a small Southern town of Marks Mississippi.
Allen joined the U. S Army at the age 17 serving his country for over 24 years he retired September 30, 2001. And 2002 he was employed by the Atlanta VA Medical Center where he served until 2005 he transferred from the medical center to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) where he presently serves as an emergency management specialist. In December 20 14 Allen was moved by God to start a food pantry in the local area of Covington Georgia where he serves as the lead coordinator for the community helping hands food pantry serving over 50 people monthly.

My name is Tannia Petgrave I’m a native New Yorker and have resided in Georgia for the past 13 years. I have been a member of SCRM for a little over 6 years and have been serving as a board member for about 2 years.

My passion is serving others in any way that I can. I really appreciate the opportunity to be apart of SCRM and enjoy working with everyone here.
