My name is Tannia Petgrave  I’m a native New Yorker and have resided in Georgia for the past 13 years.  I have been a member of SCRM for a little over 6 years and have been serving as a board member for about 2 years.

My passion is serving others in any way that I can.  I really appreciate the opportunity to be apart of SCRM and enjoy working with everyone here.

Meet the Board

Mark Johnson - President

Mark’s occupation is a firefighter and emergency medical technician. He has been a part of Southern Crescent Resource Ministries for approximately 18 years. He started out as a member of a church group that was a member of Southern Crescent Resource Ministries. When he first started, the organization was located in the Covington area. Soon after, the organization moved to the McDonough area At a dairy barn. It was here that Mark began volunteering with Southern Crescent Resource Ministries. He helped unload trucks, sort and stack product and assist with the distributions. In 2002 Mark became a member of the Board of Directors. Mark became Board President in 2014. He is seen and been a part of this organization as it has grown from a few members receiving a monthly distribution to what we have today.
“I am honored and blessed to be part of Southern Crescent Resource Ministries. This organization has grown and helped so many people. I pray that God will continue to bless us, so that we may be a blessing to others. With God’s will and guidance, we will continue to grow. I am grateful to fellow board members, employees, and all of our volunteers. SCRM would not be where it is today without the hard work and cooperation of those mentioned. I am grateful to all of our members, because without them our outreach would be small. Our members are able to take what we provide and reach out in their local communities and help so many people and families.”   - Mark Johnson
